What is Quality HVAC

Quality Residential HVAC Services is a California statewide program that helps train contractors to install and maintain HVAC systems to the highest standards. Backed by utility funding and in accordance with California’s energy goals, the program supports contractors with training, tools, and incentives, so homeowners get better-performing, energy-efficient systems that deliver comfort, savings, and long-term value.

Why This Matters to You

  • High-Quality Work
Contractors in this program are trained in industry best practices for designing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems. With this added training and oversight, they’re better prepared to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient results for your home.
  • Clear, Honest Service
After every service, whether it’s a bid, installation, or maintenance, your contractor will go over a detailed report explaining exactly what was done, how it was tested, and how it improves your system’s performance and energy savings.
  • Save Money with Rebates
Program-approved contractors are well informed about available rebates and will share options that may apply to your project. While not every rebate is guaranteed, your contractor can help identify savings you may qualify for through local or statewide energy-efficiency programs.
  • Smart Upgrades for the Future
The program supports contractors in adopting cleaner technologies like heat pumps. That means when you’re ready to upgrade, your contractor will suggest systems that can help lower your energy bill and are better for the environment.
